First STOP Bangkok Thailand

We finally landed in Bangkok after 24 hours of flying, we were finally here! I had been doing a lot of research on what to do and where to go while in Bangkok, I looked on different website forums and Pinterest, and researched the best spots to stay and the Waldorf Astoria was one of the top rated hotels. I was so excited when my husband surprised me with a suite at the Waldorf Astoria!

Have you ever been somewhere or seen something that made you feel like you were in a dream. Well, the views, service, and Amazing accommodations made us feel so like we were in a dream. I’m so thankful that we were able to stay at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Bangkok on our first night in Thailand to experience the elegant beauty and stunning views that can only be seen at this hotel.

What To Expect At The Waldorf Astoria Bangkok

We stepped in to our stunning suite we were overwhelmed by the beautiful detailed furniture and modern amenities. It was a beautiful mix of Thai charm with luxurious comfort. We immediately turn to the coffee table and saw a stunning, handcrafted pastry. There were two of them in an elegant dish, and we couldn’t wait to try them. I almost did not want to taste them because they looked so beautiful. Then, we set our bags down and decided that we really wanted to order room service. We were extremely exhausted and jetlagged but we were also very hungry and so excited to try out new Thai items that were on the menu.

When the food came out I was surprised by how big the portions were....they were very similar to the portions in Texas....and every one knows that Texas is known for serving BIG portions. Also, there was an egg on top of my husbands food, as I share our travels throughout Asia, you will see a theme of eggs being included in every meal. No matter what meal, an egg will be included. AND WE LOVED IT!

After we ate the amazing food, we are ready to go to bed, As we laid our heads down on the luxurious pillows, and looked at the unreal skyline, all we could do was thank God for this opportunity to experience this first class treatment. The next morning, are sweet friends that came over because we really wanted to spend the day with them and to show them our room. My husbands favorite part of the room was the bathroom. The toilets were run by a computer system and the floors were heated. The engineering and innovation was definitely on display.

Rooftop POOL and Spa

Before we left for the day we were eager to explore the hotel. After looking at pictures of the rooftop pool, I knew we had to go to the top. The elevators open and we are greeted by 2 kind hostess who worked at the spa, and then to the left we walked out onto their rooftop to overlook the entire city! We were literally blown away… So far, everything that this hotel does is in excellence. From the food to the rooftop pool, we couldn’t believe that we were surrounded by so much beauty!!!

We couldn’t wait to explore the rooftop, hear how it had gained worldwide attention for the views and excellent customer service, and spend quality together in this magical moment!

Then we went down to the lobby and the manager of the hotel, helped us book a flight to Phuket and told us where we should go while staying in Phuket. Then Poom, our friend who lives in Bangkok was ready to show us around town and he knew exactly where to take us to have an unforgettable day in Bangkok.

Also, Here are other interesting facts about Waldorf Astoria hotel. I also found these pictures on the website, I felt like you would absolutely love to look at them, and please let me know your thoughts! Love you all and I can’t wait to share our second day in Asia with you + our unforgettable first FULL day in Bangkok, Thailand.
