Sweet friend! I have been so excited to share our experience with you. Splashway is one of our favorite vacation spots because it is the perfect destination for the entire family. The environment is safe and secure the activities are for adults and kids and every age in between and there is always so much to do. Your children will never get bored!
From fishing, to kayaking, to spending all day in the water park, to the extreme slides to the toddler area to roasting marshmallows and making unforgettable s’mores, to putt putt golf, to laser tag and outdoor movies, you will absolutely love your stay and want to come back every year. That is what happened to me and my family, we have been going to Splashway for over four years now and every time we visit, our stay gets better and better.
I also have to share that every time I go to Splashway Water Park I am blown away by the staff and the service that they provide. We recently stayed in the cabins and we all had such a wonderful time. The staff and the team at Splashway house at us and we got to experience the gorgeous cabins, the new, amazing restaurant, The golf cart’s, the Amazing cabanas and so much more. HOW TO GET TO SPLASHWAY
Since sharing our experience and our passion for Splashaway Water Park, so many people have told me that they would absolutely love to go if it was close to their home. If you live in Houston or the surrounding areas, Splashway is about an hour and a half from you! This depends on your specific location but I’m going to give you the address so you can Google it and check it out for yourself. I promise you that you will create a lasting, unforgettable memories no matter what season when you go spend a weekend or a week at Splashway Waterpark and Campgrounds.

Also, while we were in the waterpark we met a few people who have season passes and live about an hour from the waterpark. They go up every weekend for one day to enjoy the waterpark. What a fun day trip activity as well!
HOW TO GET AROUND
Our family has been going to Splashway for years so we always bring our our golf cart to explore the campground. If you do not have your own golf cart, you can easily walk the grounds and get to every activity + the water park. However, if you are traveling with your family and you have strollers, coolers or other necessities for the waterpark, then I would suggest renting a golf cart, it will make your stay so much easier and convenient.
WHAT TO DO:
There is so much to do with your family at Splashway waterpark and campgrounds. Throughout the summer they plan daily activities for you and your family from arts and crafts, to outdoor movies, to laser tag, Putt Putt, kayaking, fishing, and even s’mores. There are two large playground for children to run and play every single day, plus a basketball court and a sand volleyball court.
When we travel as a family, our cousins, aunts, and uncles always come and we plan a volleyball tournament at night after we ride all of the rides at the waterpark. One of my favorite things about Splashway waterpark is the fact that every adult gets to feel like a kid and enjoy all the fun activities with their family. Another thing that I love is that every time we are at Splashway, I feel very safe. As a mom the environment of a destination is always very important to me that it feel safe and secure. You will absolutely love creating unforgettable memories with your family at Splashway waterpark.
WHERE TO EAT:
On our blogger trip to Splashway Waterpark, we had the privilege of trying Splashway's is newest restaurant HIDEAWAY and we absolutely loved our experience. We got to try a lot of the difference options on the menu and we were blown away by the quality and the price. The restaurant overlooks the PUTT PUTT course and has such a fun vibe. It is truly a family fun experience.
Also, at the water park there are other options! You can either bring a cooler full of food for you and your family, of you can check out the Café that offers American style food plus slushees, Dippin’ Dots and more! We actually did both and loved that we could bring sandwiches, fruit, chip, and veggies but then also order dip and dots and fries throughout the day.
WHERE TO STAY:
I love that Splashway offers so many different options when it comes to lodging. Typically,when we travel with our family to Splashway water park campground, we always bring our fifth wheel and we stay in the campground. I like I was saying before, we always planned to come with 40 to 50 people and we always plan to stay very close together so we can have a barbecue night, fajita night and a taco night. We absolutely love our family traditions at Splashway waterpark. However, the last time we went was for a fun mom‘s weekend we glamped in the gorgeous cabins. You can also rent cottages or stay in a tent which I think would be fun as well.
WHAT TO BRING:
I have had so many of you ask me what to bring when visiting Splashway, and I’ve created a checklist just for you.
Beach towels
Sunscreen
Life jackets
Snack food for when you go to the waterpark
Water bottles
Your bathing suit
Extra cash for Putt Putt or doing laser tag.
