This Fall, we had the opportunity to experience Splashway Waterpark in a new and fresh way. My family and I have been going to Splashway Waterpark and Campground every summer for years and this fall I had the opportunity to bring my family and friends to experience the Halloweekends!!
From the moment we entered the campground, we were blown away by the staff, and all of the wonderful accommodations. Our cabins were fully stocked, slept up to 10, with a queen sized bed, and a loft with 4 full sized beds. The cabin was perfect for a family of any size.
After we settled into our cabins, we were super excited to experience a cute Pumpkin Patch, Hay Ride, Zombie Laser Tag, Costume Contest, Haunted Ray’s Express, live music, Themed Arts & Crafts, Site Decorating Contest, Trick or Treating, and wonderful accommodations.
Our children did not know what to do! They literally were overwhelmed with excitement at all of the activities. We started the day at 9 o’clock going to the pumpkin patch to plant our pumpkin seed. Then we headed to sign up for laser tag and went to arts and crafts. Laser tag and then we loved going to the fall carnival!! After that, we went back to our cabin, all of my friends and my family, so our kids can take a moment and rest. When they woke up we went to pick up our now grown pumpkin to decorate them, then we costume contest, and enjoyed the food trucks, the kid friendly (not scary) haunted house and live music!!
Ok!!! Now let’s all take a breath and appreciate the incredible family friendly weekend! Our kids had such a wonderful fall experience plus, they slept so good, and so did all the moms!

Splashway is a family water park and campground in Sheridan, Texas. We are located on US Highway 90-A, 20 minutes south of Interstate 10, between San Antonio and Houston, one hour west of Katy and Sugar Land, and a little over an hour and a half south of Austin. Spend the day with us and your whole family will experience a variety of attractions at our water park near Houston including wave pools, kiddie areas, speed slides, mat racers, slides, and a lazy river.
